Improving The Cruiser Experience

While working for CruiseCritic.com, I worked on several projects and helped enhance the overall experience for cruise researchers and travelers.

About the Projects

As a full stack software developer for the backend, I would work with PHP and Python, and for the frontend development I would work with React and JavaScript/TypeScript. I was responsible for day-to-day improvements and new feature development of the website (cruisecritic.com) as well as backend services, APIs, and integrations with 3rd party SDKs and custom code for data conversion into a MySQL and GraphQL environment. I Introduced LLMs (AI/Chat) to the team and helped with the integration of AI in test products focused on customer experience. I also worked directly in the AWS infrastructure to help with site stability and networking. Including EC2 and S3 management and deployment.
